Opening day 12/3, early reports of better than average opening day conditions, 1-1/2 ways down, Vista and Come Around park converging to Midway/Lower Main Street.

By the time I got there after work, things had spiced up a bit, nothing like warming up the ski legs with shugah bumps for some good fun!

Yesterday morning at rope drop was much smoother, ski on until about 10 or so.

Hopefully the snow geese on the way home are a sign of some winter weather

Yea from skier traffic, big and irregular, littered with bodies lol, since it was the only way down.

I ski weekend mornings (Tele-Sunday!), before the crowds and usually a RAW once a week.

If you go mid week let me know and I’ll try to meet ya for a few runs

Those photos really capture night skiing in NJ/PA. Piles of sugar snow with some type of ice between are on the menu. Watch out for the edge of the trail, you do not want to fall off and go into the rocks and trees. (y)

Similar to Upstate night skiing, the shadows afford better vis than yer typical-flat-light-cloudy day.
