Look at average meteorological winter temperatures, Dec - Feb.

Got a book "Climate and Man" by the USDA published in 1941.

Yearbook of Agriculture, 1941, Climate and Man, Hardcover

This is a classic Yearbook of Agriculture from 1941, published by the USDA. Each year had a theme and this year's was Climate and Man. This hardcover is in good condition.

NYS has fine print data in tables by counties then stations with a write up about it by a dude in Ithaca. Better put my readers on..
Doesn’t list snowfall amounts but has details by year for someplaces for 1st and last killing frosts (It’s USDA data). I guarantee ya it snowed .

You can also query to pull historical data from the NWS NOW data and copy/paste into excel for detailed analysis of temperature, precip, snow pack etc for many observation stations and airports.

Wouldn't annual be 1/1/23 - 12/31/23?

BTW, 1993 definitely had the most snow in CNY I can ever remember.

You're right. The link posted on the previous page was for Jan 1 to Dec 31. This is for winter seasons and thus far 2023-24 is 9.8 inches. That sounds more accurate!

For 2023 ain’t been too pretty snowfall wise since back in March.
