Winter Weather 23/24

Look at average meteorological winter temperatures, Dec - Feb.
Got a book "Climate and Man" by the USDA published in 1941.
Has all the States. I’ll look stuff up fer ya.
NYS has fine print data in tables by counties then stations with a write up about it by a dude in Ithaca. Better put my readers on..
Doesn’t list snowfall amounts but has details by year for someplaces for 1st and last killing frosts (It’s USDA data). I guarantee ya it snowed ❄️ .

You can also query to pull historical data from the NWS NOW data and copy/paste into excel for detailed analysis of temperature, precip, snow pack etc for many observation stations and airports.

That's where I get all my data.

Hasn’t got any better since then.
Dang tough sledding.

See the YTD below for 23-24. 55 inches by Xmas is a decent-sized number and doesn't seem to correlate to reports I've been seeing. Can anyone confirm?
