Ski Day 32 was a big one for me.
After partying at the Ski Bowl and crashing at the cabin around midnight, I woke up at 4am and couldn't fall back asleep.
Had breakfast at Cafe Sarah and headed to Whiteface.
Whiteface is not that far from Gore. It's really a pretty quick ride up there.
I was not alone when I arrived. The River Lot was almost full and cars were lined all the way up the access road.
There was definitely a buzz in the air.
I met Aaron, Mike, HPD and Chris soon after. We took the Gondi and then the Summit Chair.
At the top we picked up Scotty and TJ.
Lonely near the top
It was snowing at a decent clip. We climbed up to the top of Slide 1, to find an avy class is session.
Employees from various eastern ski resorts were learning to dig pits and look for layers.
Seshin'
Slide 1
Patrol drops in
All the ingredients were in place for a big day: natural snow, big challenging terrain and some good skiers.
HPD Mountain Host
Bottom of 2B(?)
Somebody should be able to identify this Slide or Outcrop
Dancin the dance
Le Chris: "So welcooooome, to the machiiiiine..."

FKNA
Ten minute break
Phast Phil
Imagine bounding through this.
Top o' Four
After Slides closed we found a few tree shots... a sweet warm down.
While not super fat, they were almost cheater easy fun, compared.
Scotty
We finished with a cruising groomer, heading into the Cloudspin around 3pm. I was spent.
Bringin it home.
What a HUGE day. It's Tuesday night and I am still jazzed about it.
Big fun skiing with others from the forum. Makes me smile.
