That is an awesome gift! I never even knew those existed. I got a really cool piece of art, a jar of cashews and some new pyjamas.

I had a pair of Gore-tex hiking boots, they are awesome IMO.

I got the same thing I get every year:

Late breaking news, got a "compliment" from my daughter just now:

"Dad you're really not too fat, considering how old you are."

A new timer for my outside lights, with half hour increments. My other timer has two hour increments. It's going off half an hour earlier than I want it to. I am super excited about this!

My dad did donations to the the Southern Tier Food Bank instead of presents. My son donated to Cornell's Elf Program for my present, at my request. I am very happy with this. I don't need things, that's for sure. (Other than the timer. )

We got our power back....at 6 pm! Went out last night at 2 am.

Bone-in standing rib roast comes out as well on the grill as it does in the oven....maybe even better. Casseroles as well. Gas range took care of the rest.
