In another example of the many obscure Alps areas I’ve learned about from the road warrior Starli on Alpinforum, following his visit to Tschiertschen near Arosa Lenzerheide, I’d made a mental note to check it out the next time I was in the region. Definitely worth the small detour from the main route.
Good thing that I could follow other people after the free shuttle bus from the parking lot — there’s no sign telling you where the lifts are:

I ate lunch at this place. Only after getting the check did I learn that they don’t accept credit cards. The waiter insisted on comping my meal and beer “in the name of Swiss/American relations” (there was a big anti-Trump sign in the doorway).
