So I drove the length of our great state this past week in order to drop Junior off for his freshman year of college. NYS is very green.
We got on the road very early in order to hit a 2-5 PM move-in window. It was a long day but we got it done. There was significant nesting activity before we finally left Junior to get to know his new roommate. We were far enough from home that we decided to stay over. Hotels are one of the many things that cause extra anxiety during the age of Corona but this sticker was reassuring.
Of course Danger Boy needed to eat so we went to a renowned local establishment for chicken wings.
The wings were of superior quality of course. The celery was packed separately as is right.
In the morning we retrieved Junior and made a quick trip to Niagara Falls. It was all right.
So we dropped Junior back at school and hit the road. Along 81 and 17, we drove through the most intense rain/thunder storms I’ve experienced in years but we made it home ok.
