I have now seen everything. Didn't know whether to post here or start a new thread, but here we go.
Skiing today (Christmas) at van Ho. Snow falling all day. Some kids in the biathlon range because biathlon junior nationals this week. Skiing was great; I skied a couple hours. As I go into the lodge, a woman is putting a baby carriage out on the 2d floor deck. I didn't think much of it at the time.
15, 20 minutes later, I'm recovered, changed, and ready to bail. I went to the deck to retrieve my skis. There's a dang infant crying in the carriage. Mind you, the temperature's been dropping all day. 15 degrees and a stiff wind blowing. I thought she had the kid lying in a chair or sofa.
Two women in the lodge. I go in and shout, whose child is that. The mother went out and brought the baby in. WTF she was thinking, I'll never know.
I really wish I was a more confrontational person.
