Went camping recently at Tilden Hill farm in Vernon, NY.
Very pleasant surprise at the cross country MTB trails they have on the 155 acre farm.
While not a lot of elevation they have miles of trails with some punchy descents/climbs.
Also some wooden features and graduated drops and pump/bmx track in process of being built.
They had a NICA race in May and are on the NYS MTB series with a race July 20-21 with a $11,000 purse being paid out among all the classes. Riding is free, just sign in at the entrance.
Ken Brewer, the owner is investing considerable money and energy into the biking on the farm and if you are in CNY I highly recommend a visit and show them some love.
Also is a great place to camp with a limited number of RV and camp sites and Ken is a fantastic host.
