When I went to Song yesterday, before booting up, was talking with someone I parked next to who told me his dog went blind. We talked dogs & vets for a bit. He said NY has a severe shortage of opthomalogical vets.

Good vision is priceless.

In the picture are you all standing where the skating rink was? Somewhere in his writings he describes how that was originally a bear wallow before it was enlarged for skating.

Yessiree that’s the rink/ wallow. James had to leave early, I took the pic.
I spent 15 hours w the Lanes that day, culminating with dinner at the Diner by Cortina and a view of Hunter. The Lanes, Russ, Njskibabe, myself. Never forget it.
