Matt ...well if you know Matt, you know that he could not let that stand unanswered...

I lobbied heavily for tree skiing, and it worked.

Like yesterday, once again, Riverc0il's knowledge of Jay was a huge advantage.

We skied the trees almost exclusively.

We found some of the best snow of the day, after 3 o'clock.

The_Dip.jpg

Lots of great snow, a good percentage of untracked lines, sunshine, cold temps, and brutal windchill on the Freezer.

What a day.

NSBS Day 3: Photographic evidence from today is sketchy. The cause may have roots in last night...

Nevertheless, Riverc0il, Sick Bird Rider, Mattchuck and I found ourselves doing some skinning in the morning...

There was some nice snow around.

After 20-30 mins we got to the top of the rise, and headed back down the gentle terrain.

Then we leapfrogged our way down the steeper parts. Sorry no action shots.

After lunch, we headed back out to the to ski the trails and trees.[/img]

We found good snow in areas across the mountain.

Second summit was bony.

The first was saved by a Jay Cloud miracle, about 8 inches in three hours the first morning.

We stayed at SBR's place less than 5 miles from mountain and there was only a dusting, less than an inch.
