The National Ski Areas Association says the 2021-2022 ski season was record-breaking in the total number of skier visits to resorts around the country

IMO good, but not amazing.

One thing is real, the other seasons that were close to this were good snow years. This really wasn't.

Next season will be greater than '19-'20 in terms of overall skier visits but less than '21-'22. Thats my prediction for the ski world based on participation and sales figures in another outdoor industry I'm privy to.

$6/gal gas will be interesting, especially since there still are zero shortages of gas. It will probably affect some skiers and riders.
