You can "tag" members in your post. This will alert them to your post.
You tag them by adding the "@" sign in front of their name. When you start typing... @Harvey the members name should pop up like this:
Then click on it and they should be tagged. The name will show up as a hot link and IF the member has their personal settings to be "notified if tagged" they will get an alert when they login. Click on your avatar and look under PREFERENCES, check the two boxes checked below:
Note that the alert will ONLY happen if you do it AT THE TIME of the ORIGINAL POST. It will not work if you go back and edit the post. Also if you tag yourself you don't get an alert.
