I'm hoping I'm not the only parent here being tortured by a teenager. Here's a chance to commiserate with other parents, and for the childless to laugh at us.

I'll start, with something I got tonight after I booked out from work to drive SOMEONE to the gym.

"Dad I'm worried that the new house you are building is going to cost too much and you won't be able to buy me a car. Can't you just move to a retirement community?"

Just name the new camp “Retirement Community."
When we asked the little twin nieces, "what should we name the camp?", one of em quickly chimed in, “Camp Site”.

I can't remember exactly what my older daughter said to me but my response was "I didn't like 14 year old girls very much when I was 14 and I sure as hell don't like them any more now!!!"

Make her a deal . Buy her a car if she gets a job at a “ Retirement Home “
