Rental in ny catskills suggestions

I thinking of get a cabin in or apartment Catskills. Prefer close to Platty . Still no bus for me to. Get to Newburgh So I find way to come up when it snows any suggestions from NY Blog much appreciated

I live in Orange County NY in Middletown
About 2 hours by car

Basically if I could ride from my apartment in Middletown to Newburgh Where I meet Jim from AZ then I can ski Plattekill
Across I happy to pay$ for that
Any idea or perhaps people on here who knows anyone who dose that commute?
