Seriously though. Surfboards by Skip Frye (no fault of Skip), original 1960s 7" 45s from Jamaica, VW split window buses, Windham mountain, automakers discontinuing sport wagons in the US, the list goes on and on. They're currently trying to ruin both where I live and where I surf by building these massive wind farms in the Atlantic Ocean off Long Island and New Jersey and running the extensive network of electricity cables through Long Beach where I live. Not to mention whatever is happening to our east coast winters.
 
What’s to be angry about? Somebody’s gotta pay for all the bullshit.

Years ago when I fished the big O The Lake Ontario United had a sub "Open Forum” & it had and still has a pinned post where folks comment about plans for windmills on Lake Ontario.
Seems they don’t like ‘em too much either.
 
The blades also shatter and when they do, thousands of tiny fibreglass shards litter the surrounding area. Bad enough on land but a nightmare in the water. Each turbine also requires a large amount of fossil fuel lubricants and other hydraulic fluids that have been proven to leak into the water.
