Mount Hood Meadows Conditions

A bit late posting. I had a nice Indy Pass day at Mount Hood Meadows on Friday. It has been warm so the snow had been slushy, mostly firmed up in the morning so I stayed mostly on groomed runs. The forecast was bad but ended up being pretty nice. The top half got a little snow during the morning. Fortunatley, the predicted rain down low never came and there were even some breaks of sun. I skied all over, including some steep canyon walls when those softened up enough. They opened Cascade after lunch and I had my two best runs up there cutting through the fresh coating. I think I would have been a little more adventurous on my own skis - the rentals were fine but I never got super comfortable letting them fly. They got grabby down low later in the day too.

Save some of the NY/VT snow for me on Monday!
