Mussels are good eats. Sweeter than clams. They look like big ones.

I should note when I told our kayak guide about my mussel harvesting the next day he explained you have to be careful of biotoxins in shellfish causing PSP paralysis or even death. A little research confirmed this is possible but MDMR maps show Hadley Point as a safe zone
