When I skied there six times from 2001 to 2005, Magic was churning through owners and operators since reopening in 1997 after a multi-year closure. Of course, I dug the NELSAP-y vibe.

The old map at the base showed defunct Timber Ridge on the looker's left:

Those are some old school looking trails. The whole post has a 50s vibe. :geek:

What was the terrain like at Timber Ridge? How did it compare to the rest of the mountain?

It maxes out at around 750-800' of vert and the trails are more mellow but have character. Good for fresh turns days after most storms.
