I've been to Intervale, but I haven't been up on the jumps. There's paved rollerski loop with a 5-station range for biathlon. I skied a race there once, the loop started at the ski jump outrun, went all the way to the top and back down. Ooof.
Weather has never been good enough to make it worth going to the top of the Lake Placid jump. But I did the tour in Park City a while back that included the Olympic jump there. Looks very different since the jump was built on a hill, not on top of a hill. The tour stopped at the base first in order to provide perspective on how big the landing zone is because it looks so small from the top.
