Info about the history of the Lake George Ski Tournament?

I found this poster online and was wondering if anyone had any information about this event or if this is another fake vintage poster? I know there is a Top of the World golf course by Lake George but I've never heard of a ski event nearby unless it was possibly on Prospect (Cobble) Mountain?

A cursory Google search has this poster coming from a website called art.com. Closest other result is LG preparing for FISU Games and a high school ski tournament.
