Dangerboy has been getting antsy. He’s been bugging me to venture further afield. Magic was first on his list so we took advantage of his school vacation yesterday and made the trip.
We jumped right on Talisman. Turns out it was the only thing open on that side. It was fast. I let my son go first and when I followed over the lip, he was already most of the way down. It was a little alarming.
It wasn’t the best of conditions but it wasn’t bad either. Plenty of edgeable surface to turn on. Hopefully they picked up some fresh snow last night.
We made our way around, trying to ski everything that was open. I appreciated that Magic opened up a lot of stuff that other hills would not have found acceptable.
We talked a bit about shit conditions making good skiers. I think we’re simpatico on the issue cause this is the trail my son wanted to return to most.

It’s always cool getting back to Magic. My son kept saying how we need to get back when there is more snow. I agree.
