This is a full camber (no rocker, no nonsense) super ski described by Icelantic as a "powder carver". In reality it's a powerful short turning carver on any type of snow from 6 inches to 6 feet of snow. Bought for backcountry tree skiing, the Shamans are actually an incredible front side all mountain ski after big dumps. Length is only 172 but look at the dimensions: 160 tip. 110 waist and 130 tail. Mounted with Tyrola Attack 16 platform bindings which allow touring with traditional alpine boots. Definitely not a touring ski but great for side country access. Caution: you must be a skilled pilot with solid fundamentals; the ski responds and rewards aggressive, shorts turners (think ex racers). The skis are also great for cut up, bumped up snow after a big storm when most skiers are calling it quits. Skis date from the 2015 ski season but have seen limited use and are in near pristine condition. I hate to part with these skis as they fit my ski personality. But I seldom get the chance to use them due mostly to lack of major snowfall. I also have other fat skis which I tend to use for the most part. Photos to follow. Price to be determined. If interested in inspecting the skis, stop by Belleayre Ski Shop and ask for Norman, the owner who is kind enough hold the skis for me.
