Le Massif? Mont Saint Anne? or Mont Sutton?

Decided to get out of dodge (Gore) for Feb School Break and check out Quebec City and a mountain or two nearby and hit Mont Sutton on the way home.

Anybody have any tips? Suggestions? (other than dress warm 😜)

Thanks in advance.

About 20 years ago my wife and I did this trip at the end of March. We stayed in Quebec City at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac and skied Mt St Anne and Le Massif. It was a great trip. Staying in QC was awesome for food, visiting the Old Quebec area and interesting winter events. The drive to Mt St Anne was less than 45min and the drive to Le Massif was less than an hour. The skiing was decent eastern skiing conditions. Both places are huge and the views from both areas are insane. The food at both ski areas was great.
We took one day and drove around the Ile de Orleans and visited a Sugar Shack.

And it was still very cold. We had single digits fahrenheit while skiing at both ski areas as the high for the day.

I have been to two out of the three multiple times. I have been to St Anne and Le Massif. IMO Le Massif is the better hill. The views are considerably more striking but both places are awesome. Both places will have almost no lift lines. AirBnB near Le Massif is generally very cheap especially with the US dollar but will depend on how many people you have staying. Its generally large houses/semis for rent. Quebec City is a must see especially the lower village. Let me know if you need restaurant recommentations. Baie-St-Paul is a cute little town that is near Le Massif if you are looking for food/brewery options. Generally food even in cafeterias will but much better then what you get in Western Canada and the US. One of the main reasons to going to Quebec is the food. If you like French food it really has spectacular food options. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions let me know. I am jealous you are going, QC is such a treat and one my fav places in Canada :) At least this March I am going in the opposite direction from Toronto to Colorado (A-basin, Copper, and Winter Park). I am very excited. My first trip to the US for skiing in a long time as we mainly ski Western Canada due to favorable currency.
