Gore vs. Whiteface Online Ticket Sales

Whiteface has the majority of the remaining winter days available to make reservations. Gore has far fewer weekend options. Does anyone have any knowledge as to why? Are they releasing more tickets for WF? Is the Canadian border an issue? This week has been sold out at Gore since late January (they just released more tickets for this week) Does anyone know the metrics or rationale behind this?
