Used to be a Jets fan when Broadway Joe was QB.
Mom took us to their training camp up in Peekskill one day in the summertime & we watched ‘em practice and got autographs.
Sherman Plunkett was the largest human I’d ever seen at that point. He could run to boot. Black shiny hightops. The shine might been from the sweat.
