Not bad for 3:30 pm, a couple days after the last storm, on a 50 degree glorious spring day!
Copper is a’ight. I was starting to think it’s meh, but it’s a beautiful mountain that reveals itself with a bit of exploration. Great family mountain, and the vast high alpine is gorgeous.
However, there really isn’t any terrain with any pucker factor.
It’s also not the best late spring destination. Despite great coverage and a ton of snow there is sooo much terrain unavailable due to lifts that are done for the season. Unlike many other late season mountains, the best terrain (Tucker) Copper has to offer is closed.
Great spring day nonetheless!
