Since the Boeheims’ are done with college hoops for a bit & March Madness gets going in earnest tomorrow, it’s time for a more formal basketball thread.
There’s some older forum discussions here:

Cuse, St. John’s, Indiana, Pitt, Ole Miss & Oklahoma all said no to invites to The Invitational.
The NIT used to be at least a little special when it was in MSG in the big apple.
Now the championship is in a 96 year old field house in Indy for the 1st time.
Who makes these decisions?...

College football bowl games were screwed up 3 months ago.
Now it’s March Madness for Saint Bonaventure, a small nice UpState University.
ESPN put up a graphic about opting out before the players knew about it.

Their AD later resigned today.

If the NIT was in the big apple more teams & players mighta wanted to play me thinks.

Glens Falls Joe Girard goes to the Elite 8 with Clemson.
Attaboy Joe (y)

Meanwhile all world Caitlin Clark came to Albany to play Saturday 3:30.

A great 3 point shooter for The Cuse is gonna be head coach at Sienna.

Some folks are winning.

Yup. The Hurleys' know hoops too.
Bama beat a "#1 seed" plays fast and has a new coach that came from The UpState Buffalo Bulls.
NC State has been hot for quite awhile.
Lots of other good teams left.

Huskie bigmen dominate. Huskies scored 30 unanswered points after being tied 23-23. Punch ticket to final 4.

Tide roll into the final 4 too over Clemson.

& continue to stay hot by whooping a #2 seed Marquette and go against a #4 seed Dookies on Easter.
Lots of other good teams left.
Not as many now with just 6 teams left.

NC state sticks it big time to the Dookies yeah baby
Yup.
And to think Cuse beat ‘em twice & Ole Miss won by 20 when they played the Wolfpack in Oxford this season.
The Wolfpack must notta been in heat then. They’re hot now. So’s Purdue.

Bid Edey vs. Big Burns Jr. matchup should be fun.
