Spent the weekend with family at the Sentinel cabin at the Bark Eater Inn. No TV, no WiFi and miles of trails just out the door. With plenty of coverage and a soft fluffy top everything was skiable. The trails at the Inn are reserved for guests so you can have the place all to yourself. Great for snowshoeing and sledding too. The moon shown bright enough for a few meadow and ridge trail laps. Went to ski the lower Jackrabbit just up the road from the Inn on sunny Sunday. We parked at the end of Alstead Hill Lane for an out and back. This end has a lower elevation so you can get a fairly good downhill on the way back. This is the way skiing was meant to be. Natural trails with natural snow that move you through breathtaking scenery. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the trail. Looking forward to returning to ski some of the other sections. Thank you Tyler and Meghan for being such great hosts. Super fun.
