Those athletes kick ass but man, that course is lame. Why are they messing around doing short laps on the lower slopes? Skimo should go to the TOP of the mountain, first person down wins. I hope they make an interesting course for the Olympics, not that.

Rubbin' is racin', just like NASCAR. The cross country World Cup circus just finished a weekend in Davos Switzerland. Icy, 120-degree right hand corner leading to the finish was a real problem. I'm working on an article about nordic combined, and I found this video by national team noco skier Annika Malacinski. She's currently sitting 15th overall in the World Cup; teammate Alexa Brabec is 4th (!!) overall woman in World Cup standings.
