I've gotten some deals at the Residence Inn before, but it's all relative and timing dependent. Location is great, Ski right to the lobby door (if there is enough snow). Then walk down hill about 250ft to the pedestrian gondola that takes you right up to the main gondola. Free breakfast, 2 hot tubs. We've stayed there a few times in the past and we were happy. It would be the first place I check when I go again.

I stayed at a nice airbnb across the valley from the mountain (10 min drive). I had little interest in staying at the base area, and saved thousands.

If you have enough Hilton Honors points, the Homewood Suites in the village still has award availability for this weekend.
