Day 3 took is to Boyne Mtn. The Morning was cold around 15 degrees and a high of 30. We got the best parking spot you can get. About 200 feet or so from the Meadows lift. So I set up for the day.
The snow was firm, but you could get an edge in and it was very fast. Boyne Mtn is not my favorite place, but they do have some steep runs and some tree lined runs which are fun.
Day 4 we went to Boyne Highlands which is the tallest ski area in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan at 550’. The forecast was for 45 and sunshine.
the snow was very soft and but held up well. We had a very hard time to stop skiing, but we also knew we had one more day to go.
Day 5 we were back at our home hill at Caberfae Peaks. The forecast was for about mid 40’s day and sunshine
Caberfae did not disappoint. It was spring skiing at its finest and they also do the best job at Covid spacing that I have seen
It felt good to be back at my hone hill were I know almost every bump there is
We ended the day with a gorgeous Michigan sunset.
This marks the 21st season I have been skiing with Megan. It has been great to see her progress over the years. I love the fact that she still wants to ski with me. We skied 5 days at 5 different ski areas and as always we made mountains out of molehills.
