They weren't able to blow that before the crap weather set in. I'm sure they'll make it pretty clear once they can get it open ... for now, though ... ooooofffff!

About what you'd expect today, given the recent weather, but, it beat sitting in the house doing nothing. They were blowing snow on The Follies, and heard guns up on Thruway? Mountain Run? Approach? Couldn't really tell where. Would expect that they'd move the guns to the "main line" trails...

While it certainly isn't looking good, still hoping for the best, so I'll drag these out again ... The first one was taken at the base of Whiteface, the base of the gondola is just off camera on the right, on December 27, 2015. The second one was taken from the exact same spot on January 2...

Definitely ... I spent pretty much the whole morning lapping the Summit Quad. My second run down to the base was my last at around 12:00.

I thought the skiing was pretty good today ... visibility sucked and of course it was wet, but pretty good conditions for early December and my first day of the season ... I'll take it!

The sun finally came out at around 2:00 and it warmed up quite a bit ... I had already pulled the plug ... I'm guessing it's probably a lot better now.
