Not very colorful but to get a bike ride on 11/11/22 in shorts and a T-Shirt in the central Adirondacks is quite rare. Probabilities of another one before the end of the year are very slim. I remember many years ago skiing WF on opening day on the 10th of November, had to be early 2000s???

Same can be said about the Adirondacks. They buy up all the waterfront at ridiculous prices and start by cutting down as many trees as they can, put up lights all over and then try making a lawn out of forest. If they like the Suburbia look so much I don't understand why they move.

Just found it, last day it was operated was 2/16/15. Closed after fairly big rollback on Chair 2. Talked to a guy who was on it at the time, said it had to roll back about 60-70 feet before it came to a stop, scared the crap out of him.

Not 100% sure but I think it was the 15-16 season, of course w the volunteer group running it. Last full year it operated under full operation was 98-99.

I know several people who have either bought their vehicles at the end of their lease and kept them, or bought it and then sold at a big profit. Or who bought then traded in, for much more than they paid at the end of the lease. Good deal if you can afford to do something like that.
