One NYC voter that I know voted against it because they said it sets a bad precedent for retroactive voting.

It was not decided by NYC residents. Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Richmond (Staten Island) Counties voted against it. All of the 12 counties in the Adirondack Park voted in favor. Essex County, where Van Ho is, had one of the highest percentages at 63%.

Of course they should. But, the economic superpower of regional development just spent 40 million and is being held up by 800 bucks?

I don’t know the count but I do know that people are turned away on busy days if they didn’t buy in advance. I believe the limit started during Covid and has remained in place.

Belle does in fact have a limit for ticket sales.

Aside from the shitshow, the town telling ORDA to pay its $800 water bill if it wants water is wild.

IMO, the fact that our state has forever wild lands and skiing written into our constitution is pretty rad. Hopefully we can all agree on that.
