Pond is still low, but there was water coming in through the inlet pipe. Unless we get a substantial rain (which will kill the existing snow) I think it will be low all winter. Sucks!

Quick update for Thursday.............Sunny and windy! Sunset is open and skiing nicely. The top of the Challenger terrain park is open-the Chinese aerial team will be training on the jump. Got a little sticky at the bottom towards the end of the morning. Waiting for water and cold temps!

Happened before in the not too distant past.

We got our physical cards in the mail a few days age. Told a bunch of friends about it, but too late-sales have been discontinued for this season. Looking forward to going in January.

Not enough snow in the woods to ski, so it would be nice to get more water in the pond to put it on the trails. Yes, I realize this is counter to most thinking, but we need the water.............. Not skiing today, but the snow report says Sunset is open. Slow, but we're making progress.

Didn't see any aerials, but they are still blowing snow on Comet and Sunset getting ready for the Christmas week. With the coming warmup, we can hope some of the natural snow melt goes into the pond and sets things up when colder weather returns.

Update for Monday 12/15. Two new trails-Nova on the backside and Upper Infinity (beginner slope) on the front. They are blowing snow on Comet and Sunset. Rumor says that the arial team will be there tomorrow, so the Challenger area will be open (probably not to the public). We're getting there...

Very true. Keuka was low especially from August on (should have heard the complaints on Facebook about that-can't bring the level up if it doesn't rain!) and the ponds are very low at our kid's place on Italy Hill.

Not particularly happy that they are closed through Thursday. One rumor I'm hearing is that they are low on water-no confirmation from other sources though.

Just looked at the live feed of the Rocket webcam..............whew! Glad I skipped it! Kind of irked that they won't be open during the week.

Could be. I've done opening a bunch of times and gotten first chair a couple. No desire to battle my way down the marbled WROD with my head on a swivel. Yup, I'm getting old..............I'll wait until Monday.
