I like the current plan. North side gets little sun, so when it warms up melting will be minimal. I would probably do uncas next. It gives us an “expert” run and is a path to straightbrook. Tom

I bought a cheaper brand, around $75. They are only marginal for warming my toes, although the middle of my feet are very warm. I’d go with the ones specifically for skiing. Tom

Check out the epic day pass if any of the epic mountains are on your radar. Adults can ski for 70 per day ( non holiday) at 29 different mountains. It actually looks like a pretty good deal. Prices good till November 21 I think. Tom

On 7/23 I rented a canoe from cloud splitter outfitters and got to spend a nice afternoon on lake Harris and the Hudson. It was only $25 and everyone at cloud splitter were very pleasant. tom

I don’t think most businesses consider crowds to be a problem. Gore is very crowded, midweek. I don’t think that’s a failure. back to the point, I’d prefer a multi hill pass. I’d still ski most days at gore but options are nice. tom

I loaded her first paid day before she used her first day. I loaded the second paid day after the free day. No problems at the lift gate for any of the days. Tom

I loaded two ski days on my wife’s frequent ski card and no problems. When I looked 1/15 was available, but not available without FSC. tom

I makes no sense to shut down mid week (when it’s easy to stay safe) so that is probably what we should expect. tom
