OK, I’m old and cranky. When the ORDA mountains don’t make a lot of snow, people whine that they need to be more like Kmart. Now when they make the snow it’s a waste of tax payer money. WTF. Tom

On holidays, you probably won’t get 20% off. So if you need to ski when it’s really crowded, the card may make sense. But for normal weekends it doesn’t seem worth it. Tom

Conditions were good but challenging ( for me) today. Probably 8 inches of fairly heavy snow. Piles of snow separated by patches of hardback anywhere with pitch, which is what would be expected. It was empty early but crowds did build through the day. Never a wait for any lifts. Tom

Stayed on the lower mountain today. Conditions were not terrible but not so good either. Given what Mother Nature threw at the mountain that’s probably pretty good. Things did soften up below the top of the sunway chair. Given past recoveries from such events I would think things will improve...

I feel I’m repeating myself but another great day today. I was skiing with my wife so fewer runs than normal but everything we hit was really good. I mentioned wider trails on the north and fewer trees an wood lot and she replied “ why would they want to do that. It’s so pretty the way it is”...

I think the current trail width give the north and wood lot a lot of character. It does help make gore a bit unique and turning it into a big wide boulevard will hurt the overall vibe without improving anything. tom

Maybe he should complain about the snowmaking crew who also drive skiers to gore. You can’t make everyone happy. Keep doing what you are doing. I’d guess your approval rating is well over 90%. Tom

It was quite good. I was on the lower mountain and BR and it remained good until I left. Crowds were lighter than I expected. Tom

My recent experience is that Tuesday - Friday will have moderate crowds. Much less than a typical weekend, but more than typical mid week. With all lifts spinning, its great skiing. The first weekend will be crowded. I have seen snowmaking after presidents week, but it's not common. Tom

Excellent today. Stayed mainly on blues but it held up well. Take a day off and enjoy. This is about as good as it gets. Tom
