Fixed that for you There was already talk of not finishing the mid station on the day that the lift opened. We’ll see what happens. If they do finish the mid station it will need a whole lot of fill due to the height of the lift in that area. The ramp would likely end up blocking access...

Boxes going back on

Word is they removed two cabins to be wrapped (sponsorship, that’s what was going on when you snapped that webcam pic) last night and that is causing spacing issues. They are supposed to be back online tonight and that’s supposed to make it better. Unless, of course that creates new spacing issues.

With the updates they did over the summer, they can run it at 5.1 m/s. Five minute flat ride time!

Multiple events going on today, buses and college race teams in the Overlook around 8:15. Looks like the college race was on Dot and there was also a USCSA event in the lower Yahoo park. Quiet early but got quite busy late morning. Did a dozen runs before 11 and only four or five after lunch...

It should be sweet. It might not be a powder day, but, snow coming tomorrow and it should groom in just fine. The base is soft now and it will firm up overnight/tomorrow but fresh snow plus grooming should make Monday nice, maybe even the ungroomed too depending on how much comes down tomorrow.

Pretty nice out there today. 2” made for some soft turns. Mohawk and Onteora ROTD. Algonquin still soft from recent snowmaking, Peekamoose gunpow firmed right up. Guns now going on Yahoo and Dot. Snowing off and on. No people.

Definitely better than expected. Light crowds but all gapers. I did the 8:45-11:00 shift. Currently watching lift 6 stop repeatedly from the safety of Groomers.
