I drove out of the Gore lot on Tuesday content that that would be my last day. Seeing the weather this week I'm getting itchy again. Eyeing Friday and Sunday at Belle.

I’m two weeks into my post season mourning. Right knee is hanging on by a thread but if this storm pans out I’m targeting Tuesday as my new last day.

I saw a Robin yesterday. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one in February.

Love seeing this. I spent a lot of time there as a kid with my family.

They did a nice job with the new trails - I've spent a fair amount of time riding back there the past couple of years. Beautiful photos.

Gore on Saturday

I helped a young girl on Friday get her rental skis back on. I watched her from the lift trying without resetting her heel pieces. Probably her first time skiing.

The Goat Path situation may improve once the mid station is done but I guess we’ll see.

I watched two patrollers install it Friday morning. I’m sure it’s to slow down some unfortunate soul who flies over the wood fence after hitting the jump the groomers have unwittingly created.

I apologize to the excellent skier (forum member) I met this morning for both missing his screen name and losing him when my wife called mid run. Nice day today - not crowded at all. Whales everywhere. Pretty sure they were blowing the lower section of the trail that no longer exists all day.

Belle had a couple of inches overnight and an inch during the day. Definitely not a powder day but a good one nonetheless.
