I believe those trees traditionally would receive offerings in the aftermath of a conquest of sorts. A global pandemic doesn’t lend itself too well to random hookups with people from far flung places. Plus, you know with the ongoing Disney-fication of the ski biz….we can’t have no bra n panty...

Pics are not great but the last time I skied in NY was on this day 4 years ago. We were in between college visits to RPI and Clarkson so hit up ye olde state run ski facility for the day while the wife caught up with friends in GF/Wburg. It skied more like April 1st than March 1st that day...

I have gone to an 87 underfoot, full camber ski for daily driving…….skiing at the mental health club. I like the poppiness from arc to arc. When I notice any slight performance dip off piste that comes, I try to remember that I am old enough to have flailed around in powder and glades on...
