Mountain held up surprisingly well after the storm. Still a lot of snow up there. Conditions were firm but definitely not icy and very edgeable.

I'm in Albany and hoping to get on the road around 6am on Friday but it's sounding like it will be a harrowing drive, I'm guessing Saturday will be an easier drive but would love to ski both Friday and Saturday. Can't believe I get to break out my new powder skis for my first day out.:D

Got my 4 pack! Definitely going to hit Magic and Killington. For the others thinking Bromley and Stratton. All day trips from Albany. Already going to Jay for 3 days during kid's winter break which is blacked out for these passes.

Glad I went. Everything up top was great. Usually I do Rumor 1 or 2 times a year just to do it but today did it 3x in a row. Topridge and Chatty were also great. Bottom of the mountain has some bare spots but is not awful. Should get another couple weeks if the weather cooperates.

Anyone make it today? Cams made it look terrible but still thinking of going tomorrow.

Same. Niagara and Parkway and Thruway had some great snow. Never got icy there. Skyward was good early but definitely got scaped off by lunch. I don’t know why Wilmington trail never opened. I’m not super familiar with WF but didn’t see any open glades either. I assume for good reason.

Was about 3” when we woke but snowed all day. Got probably 10” and was just starting to stop when we left at 4. Was over some scratchy snow in parts but by midday was a true powder day. Really light and fluffy. Tomorrow should be packed powder groomers.

How much expected at Whiteface? My weather app show 7-12”. Are they getting as much rain? Thanks for the expertise!
