    i voted for gore, it was difficult, like which is your favorite child. some of you have heard me refer to the ski triangle. within an 1.5 hours i can be at gore, plattekill or magic. it usually boils down to conditions. but all things being equal, it is a very difficult choice. they all rock.

    wind is a big issue at mnt snow. when the chairs on the north face stop, there is nothing else worth skiing there. I have left numerous times when wind has shut down the north face. they used to have a 1 hour snow guarantee which allowed you to grab a voucher for another day.
