Too many people are skiing areas they have no business being in, and too many skiers don't understand how dangerous the sport truly is.

Me too, but I'm happy not to be a pass-holder guinea pig tomorrow. That lift is haunted. I'm also very curious to see their load management plan now with 2 summit lifts. What makes Magic great is unconjested trails. If they crowd the trails Magic will lose a lot of luster.

I retired from skiing this weekend years ago. It's just not worth it.

Snuck over today for some late-morning/afternoon runs. Plenty of creamy powder on the Eastside, and a small crowd before the weekend crush. They had two guns blowing on the off-ramp for black, so they're definately getting ready for that to finally run.

I was in Arkville this morning for an early meeting. If either of those mountains are claiming those snow totals, they're lying.

Given that I've never skied there with low snow, I'm not sure. Check out the glades between Ross and Proctor on the west side.
