You had mentioned trying the Ski Bowl a while ago. In the past the Village Chair ran 11 am to 8 pm, so you may have to adjust your schedule a bit. But who knows what ORDA has up their sleeves for Ski Bowl now that we have a new lodge…..and portajons!

Belleayre and Jiminy are comparable in size, but even Gore is killing it compared to “Little Killington.” I did laps both days, Jiminy has 1.5 miles of trail open, less than two feet of base and not full width in some places. It has a huge snowmaking system that can resurface the entire mountain...

Nope, just looking for a little common sense. I’ve had epic days for the last two weeks at Gore. Hats off to the groomers for finding snow to creatively push around to keep trails open.

Gore announced an ice hold on all lifts early this morning, then gave up and closed for the day at 10:20 am. I wish there was a parking lot webcam so I could see how many pissed off customers risked the icy roads to get to the mountain. The ice couldn’t be “anticipated” for the 4 pm post...
