In Queensbury - 220 miles, says 57 miles left (277), rain, 28-43 degrees. 3 percent above my epa. 65-75 mph. For those towing trucks some nice pull through chargers. Note: I charged to 100 at home and set the heat and departure time to pre warm. Kept low defog at 70 degrees.

On the flip, I will say, knowing a somewhat senior NYS park manager, working for NYS seems to not be great. They have a different set of labor law where they seem to be able to fire people to avoid getting into the retirement system, and anything after Tier IV seems pretty bad - basically state...

Any conditions news : ) Separately, I love Gore, state is what you get, but why not just pay people more? I hear you that they can't find people but supply and demand is not the hardest equation to solve. Especially when they make zip lines to nowhere. I can see Canada from my house : )

100%. These are skiing great. This is my first pair of good boots so I am just trying to think around the corner for when I have a problem.

Does anyone have experience with the current Pro Ski and Ride next to Hunter? I heard that Keith (who did my boots probably going on ten years ago) passed away but his son runs things now. I imagine the bootfooting is still quite good. Other than a broken strap the boots are still crushing...

Sounds reasonable to me. I take a 7-25 percent hit in the winter depending on duration and drive style.

Belle skied really nicely today. It felt like they resurfaced 1/3 of the mountain. They can do a lot overnight. And met another ski buddy - bumped into FRK on the gondi and we ran together - thanks sir.

Belle looks nice after a light snow.

Pretty nice at Belle above mid. Below mid was a bit firm. Big shout out and thank you to slowpokepete (who is not slow!) for meeting up and skiing together. Fun first day. If anyone is around tomorrow I am going to be skiing Belle in the morning.

His car is basically the same as mine. In fairly cold weather driving uphill I got about epa rating but in normal use he is getting well below epa. They are telling him it is testing normal.
