My great hope is someday soon Sugarbush gets out from under the thumb of Alterra. They actually sell a local pass that mainly gets you access to Ellen, yet as you said they ignore Ellen like the plague. My guess is they will bring paid parking to the 'Bush next and really piss in our cheerios.

Best Magic pow day in years! Opened the black chair before 8:30 (was scheduled for 9), so us early people got atleast 3 runs of nothing but 3 feet of perfect powder before everyone else showed up. They sold out around 10 and filled up A,B, and C lots. The lines for black got up to 10 minutes...

Almost 3 feet of powder, sold out, bluebird day, black chair only. Ski it if you can!

I prefer Pico to Killington 10 times out of 10. Sure the lifts are slow, but the peak is higher than Killington and has some secret spots that can't be beat.

I'm just NE of downtown Saratoga Springs and I finished with 17".

I can attest to that. I'm in-between 15 and 16 and I'm now trying to psych myself up to shovel/snowblow a second time today.

Magic looks to have 10-11" right now from the base cam. VT is the clear winner today.

It's nuking just NE of Saratoga Srings. Easily 6 inches and coming down about 1"/hr. No mix here.

I'm not sure where any snow forecast for big snow exists, after this weekend it looks like a steady warm up through next weekend.
