That looks really nice, but they really should have been open this weekend. Not sure what the reason is. Staffing?

Yeah I like the old wood charm of the upstairs as well, but functionally that lodge needed a rebuild. No idea what the rebuild will entail though

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

CarGurus rates it as a "Good Deal" FWIW.

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

I would think there will be a lot coming off lease in the near future though. Offering insurance on the battery should help Tesla move them

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

That being said I'll give it a listen Also none of this means he was a member of the SS or Wehrmacht, but after the War people just wanted to move on and didn't ask probing questions about a German immigrant, and 80 years later people just take it for granted

I don't believe any of it. He waited until the end of the war to escape? And when he did it was a movie worthy escape of skiing across the Alps (great marketing for a guy who owns a ski apparel company) and getting shot but luckily hitting something metal? Pretty sure I read another version...

ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

Speaking of Nazis, I have a pair of ski pants from Obermeyer that I bought before I knew anything about the company. It was founded by Klaus Obermeyer who is still very much alive today. He has some story about "escaping Germany" over the Alps on skis that seems to always read slightly...

The only problem with a bus as enthusiasts, is that we want the freedom of a car to get first tracks on a pow day, but most people don't care about that

    Yes You Need Snow Tires

Anyone have the Conti Viking Contact 7 (or 8). CR gives them slightly better ratings. Been mulling over putting a winter setup on the Tesla, but I worry about reduced stopping on dry and wet pavement.
