*Minor issue* I have not skied Gore since March 2020 but IIRC the ski holders on the outside of the gondola were always too narrow for the modern all mountain skis with wider widths.

Biggest win = not being Vail.

Gore - a reliable interconnect or way to avoid the main base area (e.g., boot up and grab a day ticket at the Ski Bowl, then be able to traverse over to Burnt Ridge and then ski over to the North Side, Darkside, etc., and back). Especially mid-week.
