I generally like the OnTheSnow app but their weather forecasts are awful. More often, I am seeing wildly exaggerated snow forecasts. Check these out for Whiteface and Stowe for today. Seems like the snow forecast would be high on their list to get right.

Two years ago, I started using Slopes. There's a free version and a premium version. I liked it so much that I pony'd up for the annual $24.99 premium version. Will say this, the Apple version of the app is much better than the Android version though I think they're working on fixing that gap.

Wish I was there but I had to head home Saturday night. Sounds like tomorrow could be even better!

Skied Stowe on Friday/Saturday. Waited out the rain on Friday and did just a few runs, it was skiable but very soft from top to bottom. Thankfully, snow (3 inches mid to top), cooler temps and a little bit of sun made for much better conditions on Saturday. Got to the Four Runner Quad in time...

Passed Killington yesterday on my way driving north in Vermont. It was an ugly day and an ugly drive from a skiing POV.

Parked at 8am, around 32 degrees, but already saw two in shorts getting ready for the day. It was 60+ by 11am. What a beautiful day at Gore. And what a joy hear the kids coming down Rumor laughing and hollering as they made it down. My faves of the day were on the Dark Side. I hope this...

Guns were blazing all over Helmers on Sunday. Everything that was open skied nicely on Sunday. Should be pretty good today.
