Time for me to hop on a plane and go out west. After this storm looking cold and dry for the foreseeable future...me hopping on a plane to ski out west normally makes it snow like gangbusters here.

This is just pretty late for them to start blowing it. I can't remember a year in recent memory they waited this long to blow it but could be and probably am wrong. It's not been an Ideal winter and I get that. In general just get nervous when things happen late at Gore as could mean it...

So recap of the day after my earlier posts... Pulled in to the bowl at 8:10. Checked snow report at 8:15. Finished gearing up and was on Hudson at 8:20. Did three laps on a hardpacked 46er before the sign came out that BR was closed. This was at roughly 8:50. Checked report again and it was...

I'd also like to point out that the report shows the hold for BR being posted at 8 AM. I checked it at 8:15. It wasn't there. I call BS

Welp getting gored this morning. Put in at the bowl after checking the report at 8:15 and here we are at 8:50 and BR is on hold with no time estimate. Would have been nice to know this before like 8 to plan accordingly to go to the base.....

Crazy busy today (which still wasn't really that bad). I was on the access road at 8 and didn't get on the AE2 until 8:50 the traffic was backed up so bad. Also shuttles abondoned my lot at 8:30 (Lot E) which was NBD but would have been nice not to wait for it for 10 minutes before realizing...

The bumps weren't terrible on Hawkeye and Hullabaloo opened around noon.

Good day today. Not enough snow but enough to greatly improve the skiing. ROTD was Hawkeye and Hulabaloo. Hawkeye had nice zipper bumps at the end of the day with some icy but skiable troughs.
